It’s known that cash can make people independent. But what to do when somebody has no cash? The one way is to receive the home loans and short term loan.

Not Starting Over. Starting Anew.

7:31 AM  |  Web  |  Life

I started dabs back in 2001 right before I started college. All through college I had been pretty good at keeping it up. I have met some amazing fellow bloggers and made a few net-friends along the way. There were ups and downs but it was a great journey nonetheless. That’s why six and a half years later I am still holding on.

I stopped blogging almost two years ago due to a lack of time, shortly after I got my first full-time position at Veoh. After a year of work and knowing I would be coming back to Hong Kong, I thought what is a better time than this to resurrect my blog. But life has been busy and there is always something else to do. I figure I would never get around to it if I don’t make time for it, and being as sentimental as I am, just leaving it behind is never an option for me. So half a year later and with some determinaton, dabs is back again.

Leaving the states to come back to Hong Kong was a pretty tough change for me, leaving behind a group of great friends and a life I have gotten so accustomed to.  But there was also a bit of excitement about starting over at a city so different than what I have remembered. With a new environment and meeting new people, there are also new opportunities. I suppose it’s all about your perspective and attitude. I guess it’s really time for me to look forward instead of dwelling on the past, even though it will always be in my memory and be a part of me. That is also a reason why I haven’t brought back the old entries. It’s really not starting over; it’s starting anew. Now I just have to believe in it.
